Artist Spotlight: Alexandra Pacheco
“Since the beginning of my career, I discovered my admiration for branding, and the creation of bold and colorful brands,” says graphic designer Alexandra Pacheco. From vibrant identity and logo designs to eye-catching social media designs, Alexandra creates memorable visual experiences that are as bold and colorful as the brands they represent.
While studying graphic design in El Salvador, Alexandra started sharing her university projects to her Instagram account where she found a community of creatives who challenged her with weekly design projects. “That's when I started practicing and perfecting my style, having fun, and finding my own creative identity.”

Alexandra describes the discovery of her creative voice as a “deeply personal journey that unfolded over time,” and Behance has been an integral part of that process. “Behance is an awesome source of inspiration,” she shares. “Engaging with this platform has been instrumental in fueling my own creative drive, and I aspire to reciprocate by inspiring other creators through my projects as well.”
In the earlier part of her career, Alexandra shared her personal projects to Behance, and eventually expanded the scope to client work. These days, she’s finding new clients and selling digital assets to benefit other creators on the platform, while balancing her full-time role as a graphic designer at Unilever.

“I love my corporate job at Unilever. It provides me stability and allows me to apply my skills in a structured environment, but it can sometimes be limiting in terms of creative freedom,” Alexandra reflects. “On the other hand, freelancing gives me the freedom to explore my creativity and help business owners bring their brand visions to life.” The downside is that freelancing can be unpredictable.
In addition to her full time job and freelance projects, Alexandra sells assets on Behance: “Selling assets is a great way for me to share my work with a wider audience and generate passive income.”
Creating her own portfolio project was particularly meaningful for Alexandra as a journey of self rediscovery. “Looking back at my first projects alongside the most recent ones brings me joy. Many times, when I’m having a bad creative day or feeling the weight of imposter syndrome, looking back at my portfolio makes me smile.”
Understanding the importance of portfolios, Alexandra created templates and has been offering them through the Behance assets marketplace. “It’s inspiring to see how significant it has been not only for me but also for other creatives. This motivates me to keep learning and improving day by day.”

Since upgrading to Behance Pro, Alexandra has taken advantage of advanced analytics to improve her asset sales. “One of my favorite features is the statistics tool, which has provided invaluable insights into my audience's preferences and current interests. This understanding has guided my asset creation decisions,” she says. As a Pro member, Alexandra pays 0% platform fees on all her sales and freelance projects on Behance.

A valuable lesson that Alexandra has learned throughout her career is navigating the delicate balance of her multiple income streams and projects. “One of the key factors for me is self-awareness,” she explains. “Knowing myself well, understanding the time I require for each task, and determining the optimal workload I can handle has been crucial.”

During slower periods of client work, Alexandra makes sure to recharge her creativity: “Slow periods are the perfect chance to experiment and do some fun projects. It's often surprising to find that your unique projects resonate with multiple individuals, potentially leading to exciting collaborations.”
