Behance is the best place to discover, hire, and collaborate with creatives. Today we’re excited to share our newest hiring feature, Freelance Projects. Freelance Projects are designed to streamline the hiring process by setting expectations and providing a clear direction, ultimately ensuring that the completed project aligns with your goals. 

Start a new Freelance Project by creating a project brief specifying your budget, timeline, deliverables, and additional details and receive customized recommendations of creatives that match your needs. Review the portfolios and connect with suitable candidates, and complete the payment for the work all on Behance. 

Start a New Freelance Project 

From the Hire Freelancers tab in the top navigation bar, select New Freelance Project, and create a project brief with the details of your project, including the budget, timeline, and description. Be sure to clearly define the scope and your needs, as well as any helpful background information and creative direction. See examples and recommendations for writing successful project briefs here. 

Once you’ve submitted your Freelance Project, you’ll receive a tailored list of available creatives from Behance. Click through to their profiles to evaluate their portfolio and determine if they are suitable for your project. 

Send your brief to freelancers who are a good fit for your project. This will start a message thread in your Behance inbox, so you can follow up with additional details. share relevant files, or start a video call to meet face to face.

When the details have been finalized, the creative will send a proposal for review, and once you complete the up front payment, they can begin the work.

Invite Freelancers to Freelance Projects

Invite talent you discover while browsing Behance to your Freelance Projects by clicking the Save Candidate button on their profile. You can choose to add them to an existing Freelance Project or create a new one. Once saved to a Freelance Project, you can send the candidate your project brief. 

Manage Freelance Projects

Track the status of all of your Freelance Projects from the My Freelance Projects tab of the Hire Freelancers dropdown menu.
