HATCLUB / Marvel Photo Composites
I have worked for HATCLUB numerous times. Usually they have a very clear vision of what they want according to what they know I can do and have done for them in the past but this is the first time when they gave me creative freedom to create whatever I wanted with these photo composites.
This is a pack of baseball hats inspired by the whole Marvel Infinity War saga. I am a big Marvel fan so I was excited immediately. I consulted with the team so they could tell me the reasoning behind every hat design and which part or character of the saga it represented. Once you see the images it becomes really clear.
This first one is obviously inspired by Thanos so my idea in order to present the collection was to show the hat as if it was Thanos sitting in his flying throne the same way it was presented in the movies.

For all the edits i used stock images from Adobe Stock®, Shutterstock and iStock along with some AI assets created both within Photoshop and the website version of Adobe FireFly®.
I used Adobe Photoshop® for the retouching and photo composite work. The product shots were provided by HATCLUB´s in-house photographer. I gave him specific instructions on how to shoot these hats in order for me to work comfortably with the perspective and lighting. I have worked with him in the past so the directions were pretty minimal. Once I photo composited the backgrounds he knew exactly how to shoot the hat for each one.
This hat was inspired by the first time The Avengers were assembled during the Battle in New York against Loki's army. So a destroyed NYC background seemed appropriate to represent that iconic scene from the movie.
This one is clearly Thanos Shed where he went after he used the Infinity Stones. The golden baseball glove on the hat represents the Infinity Gauntlet.
This is the Tesseract when Tony and Captain America went to the past to retrieve it. The stone was safely stored at a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. military warehouse.
This is the Soul Stone in the planet Vormir, protected by Red Skull wearing the cloak.
This is obviously the Time Stone kept at Dr. Strange's house.
This is Mind Stone in Sokovia after it was destroyed by Ultron and its army of robots. The hat represents Vision, who wears the stone on his forehead.
This is the Reality Stone was kept in this sort of temple / catacomb. This is where Jane found it and where the stone took possession of her during the movie THOR: The Dark World.
This is the Power Stone being opened at the Collector's Museum.
This one represents the Avengers Quantum Suits being used to enter the machine and travel back in time to save the world.
I really loved working on this project. HATCLUB did an amazing job with the concept and the hat designs. For me to have the opportunity to tell this story through photo composites was pretty cool.
